Click on the first URL in the overview In the lower window tabs, click the Inlinks tab Look at the URLs in the FROM column Unfortunately, links to external HTTP URLs cannot always be replaced, but internal HTTP links can be replaced. Perform steps 4 and 5 with all URLs from the list until, as far as possible, all URLs from the list have been replaced by HTTPS URLs. 4. Check for missing content As you probably already know, every page on a website should include an H1, meta title and meta description.
Yet it often happens that websites are missing one or more of these elements. Screaming Frog's SEO Spider makes it very easy to track down this missing content. Accept cookies To find pages without H1: In the top tabs, click on the H1 tab Filter by Missing: In the top photo editor tabs, click the Page Titles tab Filter by Missing To find pages with no meta description: In the top tabs, click the Meta Description tab Filter by Missing With the steps above you immediately get an overview of all pages on which this content is missing.

This way you do not have to manually check all pages on the website, but you can immediately see where you still need to add an H1, meta title and/or description. 5. Optimize Metadata It is not only important that a meta title and meta description are present on every page, but also that they are optimized. Bad metadata can cause few or no clicks on good positions. For example, try to use the maximum number of characters, but also make sure that the metadata is not too long.
